We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Delivery Driver & Shop Labourer based out of Saint John, NB.

This position is ideal for a dependable, hands-on individual who is comfortable spending time on the road, takes pride in safe and professional deliveries, and is willing to support shop and warehouse operations as needed. The successful candidate will play a key role in transporting materials throughout the Maritime provinces while helping maintain an organized, safe, and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Delivery and Transportation (Primary Responsibility)
  • Safely operate company vehicles, including pickup trucks and 5-ton flatbed trucks.
  • Perform scheduled pickups and deliveries throughout New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.
  • Load, unload, secure, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
  • Complete vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance concerns.
  • Ensure company vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and professionally presented.
  • Comply with all company vehicle, safety, and transportation policies.
  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and suppliers.
Shop and Warehouse Support (Secondary Responsibility)
  • Assist with preparing and painting repaired products and equipment as required.
  • Perform general housekeeping, cleaning, and maintenance duties throughout the shop and warehouse.
  • Maintain inventory levels of shop and office consumable supplies.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, material handling, and other operational duties as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with an acceptable Driver's Abstract.
  • Experience operating pickup trucks and commercial vehicles.
  • Flatbed driving and load securement experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience working in an industrial, warehouse, or shop environment.
  • Industrial painting experience considered an asset.
  • Strong commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
In accordance with the provincial wage transparency requirements, the expected base compensation for this position is $20-24/hr depending on relevant experience.
