Job Description


The supervisor plays a key role in overseeing vessel loading and unloading operations and managing the handling of our clients' cargo. They also lead initiatives focused on health and safety, operational excellence, customer service quality, environmental stewardship, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and allocate lifting equipment, and heavy machinery resources.
  • Manage a team of longshoreman, ranging in size from a small crew to approximately 20 employees.
  • Coordinate the execution of the work in order to meet the agreed timelines.
  • Oversee safe work practices and enforce environmental and operational standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in work methods, optimizing the use of equipment and labor.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by keeping stakeholders well-informed.

  • Be available to work on evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
