    • Conduct routine facility rounds, monitoring equipment and ensuring operational integrity;

    • Adhere to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including SSER standards;
    • Participate in safety meetings, hazard identification, near-miss reporting, and incident investigations;
    • Take part in emergency response exercises and maintain operational readiness; and
    • Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency, and team effectiveness.

Team & Work Environment

    • Work effectively within a team environment that values inclusion, respect, and collaboration;
    • Communicate clearly with internal teams and external stakeholders; and
    • Work a rotational shift schedule in a remote operational environment;

Qualifications:

    • Strong safety mindset with a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices;
    • Positive attitude with a focus on teamwork, collaboration, and contributing to a respectful work environment;
    • Demonstrated strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn in a hands-on, operational environment;
    • Ability to follow procedures, take direction, and develop technical skills through training and on-the-job experience;
    • Ability to analyze information, exercise sound judgment, and make effective operational decisions as skills develop;
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
    • High level of attentiveness, situational awareness, and engagement in daily operations;
    • Demonstrated interest in continuous improvement and problem-solving;
    • Previous experience in railyard, marine, and/or facility operations is considered an asset, but is not required;
