CBM Ready-Mix is seeking a Sales Representative, based in Burlington. Serving the Burlington, Hamilton and Niagara market.

This position is a permanent full-time vacancy.

Annual salary range: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 – depending on experience.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Builds relationships with both existing customers and prospective customers.
  • Promotes the use of product in the industry and promotes new products.
  • Responds to and understands territory market conditions and pricing strategies to promote business.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, commence sales tracking system or word of mouth.
  • Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, serves and nurtures clients.
  • Investigates customer problems with deliveries.
  • Liaises between operations/technical services and customer in resolving disputes.
  • Maintains budget and expenses within company-defined limits.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions.
  • Works with Inside Sales to keep account activities and literature up to date.
  • Attends local and industry related association meetings as company representative.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of previous experience in ready-mix sales, with a focus on customer relationship management is an asset
  • Post secondary education, new graduates welcome!
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to read drawings and perform specification review for cast in place concrete.
  • Valid Driver’s License
