Sprung Structures’ 13-decade history began in 1887 designing custom canvas products. The Sprung family of inventors innovated and improved the technology over the years, applying it for structures in multiple industries including, military bases, schools, hospitals, sports arenas, fabrication plants, warehouses, and now sound stages.

Sprung is looking for qualified individuals to fill the role of General Labourer in our Production Shop at our company headquarters in Aldersyde, Alberta.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties will include but are not limited to the assembly of components, machine operation, using various tools to drill, grind, or deburr aluminum or steel components; and helping other departments as necessary.

Qualifications:

As there are multiple roles to be filled, vacancies will be filled according to experience. In addition to the basic requirements listed below, those with forklift tickets would be an asset.

  • Solid knowledge of equipment,
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly,
  • Familiar with the manufacturing industry, with construction industry experiences an asset,
  • Strong reading and writing skills in English for labels, safety warnings and guidelines,
  • Attention to detail is a must,
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a great safety record

Skills more than these requirements will be considered an asset.
