Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d’un/e Technicien, control qualité pour joindre notre équipe de professionnels aguerris et motivés.

Chez Starboard, nous sommes déterminés à fournir un environnement de travail stimulant.

Sous la supervision de la direction du Directeur Général, le candidat retenu sera responsable d’effectuer les achats auprès des différents fournisseurs.

Responsabilités

· Assurer la qualité des produits, de la matière première aux produits finis, selon les standards établis et effectuer les suivis en cas de non-conformités ;

· Effectuer les surveillances et vérifications reliées au programme HACCP et SQF;

· Effectuer les tests de surfaces environnementaux (SWABS) sur l’équipement ;

· Calibration de l’équipement (Balances, Thermomètres, réfractomètre) ;

· Assurer le respect des exigences reliées au PGQ (Programme de Gestion de la Qualité des produits de poissons).

· Maintenir la communication avec l’Agence Canadienne d’Inspection des Aliments (ACIA) concernant toute question liée au programme HACCP et assurer le suivi des rapports d’inspection.

Qualifications :

Le/la candidat(e) recherché aura les compétences suivantes :

· D.E.C. en techniques de diététique, DEC en transformation des aliments ou toute autre formation pertinente ;

· Expérience minimale d’un an dans des fonctions similaires ;

· Habille en informatique (environnement Windows) ;

· N’a pas de problème à travailler dans un environnement humide et froid.

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team of seasoned and motivated professionals.

At Starboard, we are committed to providing a stimulating work environment.

Under the supervision of the General Manger, the successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing with suppliers.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure product quality, from raw materials to finished products, in accordance with established standards, and follow up on any non-conformities;

· Conduct monitoring and verification activities related to the HACCP and SQF programs;

· Perform environmental surface tests (SWABS) on equipment;

· Calibrate equipment (scales, thermometers, refractometers);

· Ensure compliance with the requirements of the PGQ (Fish Product Quality Management Program).

· Maintain communication with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regarding all matters related to the HACCP program and ensure follow-up on inspection reports

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

· A D.E.C. in Dietetics, a D.E.C. in Food Processing, or any other relevant training;

· At least one year of experience in a similar role;

· Proficient in computer skills (Windows environment);

· Comfortable working in a damp and cold environment.

· Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

· Expected Hours: 40 per week.
