Develop performance standards

Find ways to eliminate wastefulness in production processes

Analyze costs of production

Assess industrial facilities

Assess business opportunities and develop strategies

Apply mathematical techniques to the solution of problems in scientific fields or other fields

Resolve product and service related problems

Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances, warranties and delivery dates

Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support

Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service

Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services

Provide customer service

Troubleshoot problems related to equipment

Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client'sneeds

Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services

Review bids and negotiate costs
