Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range: up to $100,000 plus Overtime if available
Once in the role, successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress through the range and beyond the hiring range through annual increases

Key Job Elements:
  • Plan, schedule, assign and prioritize tasks/assignments to achieve the performance of all work and contract requirements
  • Monitor assigned work activities to ensure implementation dates are met.
  • Provide accurate daily/weekly/monthly status updates on all work activities within the team
  • Manage key cost elements e.g. overtime, departmental expenses, HPU’s, MPS
  • Lead WSA team meetings and actively identify and implement process improvements
  • Use effective coaching techniques to train and develop leadership and technical capabilities of the team
  • Ensures compliance of Unifor Contract requirements
  • Maintains compliance with: GDLS policies, Trade Compliance (ITAR), ISO procedures Security and Safety regulations and Industrial Training requirements.
  • Maintain favorable working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work on a swing shift schedule (3 shifts)

Required Qualifications:
  • College Diploma in a related field
  • Goal oriented and able to work under demanding conditions
  • Demonstrated communication, organizational, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment with minimal supervision


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a Unifor/ Union Manufacturing environment
  • Previous supervisory experience
