Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Controller to oversee our financial operations. Based in Toronto, this role is vital for maintaining our commitment to quality and operational excellence.

Description

  • Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with industry standards.
  • Oversee budgeting processes and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
  • Monitor cash flow and optimize financial processes for efficiency.
  • Lead efforts in continuous improvement of financial procedures within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Controller or senior accounting role within manufacturing or food processing industries.
  • Experienced in account reconciliation and financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software including Sage.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast- paced manufacturing environment and communicate across departments.

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
