Duties

  • Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to recipes and standards
  • Support cooking activities by following instructions from chefs or kitchen managers to prepare meals efficiently
  • Ensure proper food handling practices are maintained to meet safety and hygiene regulations
  • Serve food to customers in a timely and courteous manner, supporting the overall food service experience
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
  • Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels
  • Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards in the kitchen

Skills

  • Experience in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating familiarity with kitchen operations
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking processes
  • Ability to handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
  • Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and team members
  • Basic understanding of meal preparation and food industry standards
  • Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving throughout shifts
  • Clear communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and servers

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
