HOST/HOSTESS

In this lively role, you will create a warm, inviting atmosphere by greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome guests promptly with a friendly smile, energetic attitude and assist with seating arrangements.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and create a welcoming environment for guests upon arrival.
• Communicate effectively with servers and management to coordinate seating and service flow.
• Answer guest inquiries via phone with professionalism and clear communication, providing accurate information about wait times or reservation details.
• Support guest services by addressing special requests or concerns promptly and courteously.
• Assist in maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness and organization to uphold high standards of hospitality.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles is preferred, especially in restaurant settings.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

BUFFET ATTENDANT

Mandarin Hamilton East is currently hiring Buffet Attendants. We are seeking a passionate and results-driven individual to join our team to fill this existing vacancy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a positive experience for customers and maintaining cleanliness standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in the food service industry while working in a fast-paced setting. No experience required. We look forward to welcoming motivated candidates eager to grow within our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Replenish buffet items promptly, such as hot food items, salad, and dessert.…etc.

· Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the buffet area and equipment in compliance with food safety standards

· Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times

· Support team members in maintaining efficient restaurant operations and customer satisfaction

• Salary Range $17.60 per hour plus tips, if any
