With over a decade of experience in providing top-brand aerial lift and material handling equipment for rent in Atlantic Canada, we are excited to be adding to our team. We continue to grow through technological innovations, expanded product offerings, and the value-added services that have supported our customers over the years.

We are currently looking to hire our next great team member for the position of Account Manager located in Cape Breton, NS.

Position Overview:
As an Account Manager with Brunswick Lift Rentals, you will be responsible for generating profitable business within your assigned territory by promoting our range of rental and sales equipment. This role is ideal for a driven and ambitious professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong customer relationships. You’ll be the face of our brand in the field—developing new businesses, maintaining existing accounts, and executing strategic sales plans to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new customer growth through jobsite visits, prospecting, and outreach, expanding territory presence and identifying opportunities in new sectors.
  • Achieve rental, merchandise, and used equipment sales targets while promoting add-on products and maximizing fleet utilization.
  • Build strong customer relationships through ongoing support, follow-ups, and solution-based recommendations to drive repeat business.
  • Manage sales pipeline activity by tracking KPIs, maintaining accurate records, analyzing performance, and providing forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales, Operations, and Service teams to ensure seamless quotes, availability, and customer support.
  • Support promotions and marketing initiatives, including campaigns, specials, and upselling opportunities.
  • Maintain accountability for performance targets, participate in coaching, and follow company policies.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, jobsite requirements, and compliance standards.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in project management, business development, and customer retention.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient with standard computer applications.
  • Knowledge of material handling and aerial equipment is required.
  • Bilingualism may be considered an asset in some locations.
