Our client is an established developer/builder with a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional mixed-use and multifamily developments across British Columbia. In addition to their own developments, they complete a significant amount of construction management work for leading third-party developers and have built long-term relationships with some of the industry's most respected names.

As they continue to expand their operations in Victoria, they're looking to add an experienced Project Manager to support a significant pipeline of upcoming work.

The Role

As Project Manager, you'll take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they're delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with Superintendents, consultants, clients and senior leadership, you'll play a key role in driving successful project outcomes while maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overall responsibility for project delivery from pre-construction through to occupancy.
  • Managing project budgets, forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules.
  • Leading procurement and subcontract negotiations.
  • Managing contracts, change orders and risk.
  • Coordinating consultants, clients and project stakeholders.
  • Supporting and mentoring project teams.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard of quality.

About You

We're interested in speaking with experienced Project Managers who have:

  • Proven experience delivering multifamily, mixed-use or large residential construction projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills.
  • Experience managing project schedules, procurement and subcontractor relationships.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A collaborative leadership style and a passion for delivering quality projects.
