POSITION OVERVIEW:

Rare Beauty is looking for a Freelance Make-up Artist to join the team!

The ideal Rare Beauty Freelancer will be an ambassador for the brand in Sephora; helping create a community of positivity and the celebration of being Rare. The Rare Beauty Freelancer will help deliver the Rare Beauty experience to all customers by sharing brand knowledge and application techniques.

This role will be Sephora store based and include sales, product education and relationship building.

PAY RANGE: Hourly wage of $25.00 - $30.00 CAD, depending on experience.

WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Sales Support days in Sephora to boost sales

· Providing the Rare Beauty experience to all consumers

· Introducing Rare Beauty to new and existing consumers

· Ensure all sales targets are met daily / weekly

· Build positive relationships with Sephora cast / management

· Furnishing or setting fixtures and advising customers on the display of the company's products without charge or other consideration

· Checking of customers' inventories without a charge therefor

ONGOING RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Promote and exhibit brand values of positivity and inclusivity with professionalism while maintaining a positive attitude

· Comprehensive knowledge of the brand and ethos

· Provide sales feedback to management

· Ability to work collaboratively and build positive / effective business partnerships

REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Retail Sales

· Professional knowledge and certificate in Makeup Artistry or equivalent preferred

· Excellent communication skills

· Strength with time management and the ability to prioritize tasks

· Proactive and self-motivated

· Must be able to work in store Wednesday - weekends up to 30 hours per week

  • Must have reliable transportation to travel between stores
  • Must not currently be employed by Sephora
  • Must have previous Sephora or makeup artistry and sales experience

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
