Role Overview
As a member of the Imaging Team, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring that hard copy documents are tracked, prepped, scanned, indexed, quality assured, and exported to the client in a manner consistent with the standards outlined in the procedures and project requirements.
In addition to document imaging duties, the incumbent supports the pickup, transport, and delivery of records, document boxes, and related materials between client and company locations. This role also serves as a backup driver as needed, ensuring records are moved safely, securely, and on time in accordance with company procedures.
Document Imaging Clerk Responsibilities & Duties
- Working in a fast-paced production environment, successful candidates will work closely with the team to convert large quantities of paper or other media types into digital format.
- Prepare documents for scanning, including removing staples and aligning paper to be fed through the scanner.
- Quality Control duties including ensuring all items have been captured in good quality per specified project requirements.
- Remain punctual and timely with all tasks within the established Imaging Processes
- Achieve daily targets as set out in the Project Delivery Schedule
- Work closely with other team members to achieve project goals
- Adhere to the policies, procedures, and privacy guidelines identified for both WCD and the project
Delivery Support Responsibilities & Duties
- Serve as a backup driver as required to support operational needs
- Pick up, transport, and deliver records, document boxes, and related materials between client locations, storage facilities, and production sites
- Load and unload boxes and materials safely, using proper handling procedures
- Verify shipment contents and maintain accurate records of pickups and deliveries
- Ensure the secure handling and transport of confidential client information and records
- Plan and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely service
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns
- Follow all company policies, and safety procedures, and applicable transportation regulations
Qualifications
Education
- High School diploma or GED
- Records Management Certificate or Librarian Certificates are considered an asset
Skills and Experience
- Solid understanding of computers and office equipment
- Experience working with Kofax, Adobe, Paperflow, or other imaging software is considered an asset
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritize tasks
- Written and verbal fluency in English
- Maintain a positive attitude while working closely with others to achieve common goals/targets
- Ability to solve problems
- Natural drive for finding better ways to achieve improved performance
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs and assist with box management
- Ability to follow a process and do repetitive tasks
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Strong organizational skills and communication skills
- A passion for providing strong customer service
- Strong fluency in written and spoken English
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Clean driver’s abstract
Contract Length
- 1 year contract
Available Shift:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
