Full job description

Job Purpose:

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for following provided driver guidelines and obeying all local traffic laws. The Delivery Driver must be efficient and deliver parcels in a timely manner throughout the Ottawa area.

Driver Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive company cargo vans and deliver various parcels
  • Deliver parcels to customers safely and in a courteous timely manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Punctual and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in written form
  • Company vehicle, fuel and phone line will be provided to sufficiently perform the daily required job duties

Pay Rate:

  • $19

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license within Ontario
  • Must have a valid G license
  • Must have a clean driver's abstract
  • Must have a clean criminal record
  • Must be able to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Language requirement: English
