Summary

GEM Systems Inc. is currently seeking a hardworking, reliable, and motivated Shipper/Receiver to join our team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, are organized, and are comfortable with physical work, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare materials for shipment, including packing orders, preparing airway bills (AWBs), and completing export documentation.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, unpack materials, and distribute them to the appropriate departments.
  • Lift, move, and stack boxes and cases weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and update databases.
  • Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Assist other team members as needed.
  • Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or shipping/receiving experience is necessary
  • Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Reliable transportation to our Markham location.
  • Must be able to work on-site (this is not a remote position).
  • We do not need a forklift driver.
