Primary Job Objective:

The Shipper Receiver is a full-time, permanent position. Proven logistics experience is required; in this role you will ensure our products get to our customers in the most expeditious and cost-effective way. The Shipper Receiver works closely with warehouse, sales and administrative team mates, and is a detail-oriented team player. Benefits are available after 3 month probationary period.

The Candidate must reside/live-in the Greater Victoria Area.

Responsibilities include:

- Shipping and receiving products.

- Producing shipping quotes, arranging freight and providing waybills to customers and suppliers.

- Pulling stock for shipments by land, sea, or air and e-commerce orders.

- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with couriers and shipping companies.

Qualifications and Abilities:

- Minimum of 2 years of logistics experience.

- Must have experience in shipping with Local Couriers, Canada Post B2B, Loomis Express, Purolator, Fedex, Aerostream Logistics, Comox Express by land, sea and air.

- Must have excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy work environment with urgency when required.

- Dangerous Goods certificate recommended.

- Forklift certificate recommended.

- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy.

- Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised as well as effectively within a small team.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

- Strong drive to provide excellent customer service and exceeding quality standards.

- Safely able to lift 45 lbs. and climb ladders is required.
