Business Development Manager – Healthcare Staffing

Remote (Ontario)

$50,000 per year + Uncapped Commission

Job Summary

Curaga Healthcare Group is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our healthcare staffing division across Ontario.

This is a true hunter role focused on securing new staffing contracts with long-term care homes, retirement residences, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations.

You'll develop relationships with healthcare decision-makers, identify staffing opportunities, negotiate service agreements, and work closely with our Operations team to transition new clients into active staffing partnerships.

If you have an established network within Ontario's healthcare sector and a proven track record of selling healthcare staffing services, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and secure new healthcare staffing contracts throughout Ontario.
  • Develop relationships with Executive Directors, Administrators, Directors of Care, Staffing Coordinators, Scheduling Managers, Procurement teams, and Regional Leaders.
  • Promote Curaga's contract staffing, travel staffing, and workforce solutions.
  • Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, email, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings.
  • Lead discovery meetings, presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline while consistently achieving sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure successful client onboarding and staffing implementation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of business development experience selling healthcare staffing or workforce solutions.
  • Demonstrated success securing new staffing contracts within Ontario's healthcare sector.
  • Existing relationships with decision-makers within municipal, chain-operated, and independently owned long-term care homes are strongly preferred.
  • Experience selling to hospitals, retirement residences, home care organizations, or other healthcare providers is considered an asset.
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Valid Ontario driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $50,000 annual base salary.
  • Uncapped commission.
  • Expected earning potential of $100,000+ annually.
  • $300/month car allowance.
  • Paid vacation.
  • Fully remote work environment.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification

  • Valid Ontario Driver's Licence (required)

Work Location

Remote, with regular travel throughout Ontario.

Pay: $50,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
