Emmanuel Health is seeking a new Executive Director for St. Joseph’s Integrated Health Centre in Macklin, SK. This role offers a distinctive opportunity to lead a forward-thinking organization deeply dedicated to community service.

St. Joseph’s Integrated Health Centre officially opened in 1996, is a modern facility equipped with 22 long-term care beds, two observation beds, a respite bed, a palliative care unit, and outpatient X-ray and medical lab services. They take pride in ourlongstanding tradition of serving the hhealth needs of our community with a focus on respect, dignity, and compassionate care. The health center is not just a place of healing but a vital part of the community, actively engaging with local organizations, faith groups, and residents to foster a strong, healthy, and supportive environment for all.

THE ROLE:

As the Executive Director of St. Joseph Intgrated Health Centre, you will report directly to the CEO of Emmanuel Health and oversee the overall management of the facility and its services and programs. In every aspect of your operations, you will be guided by Catholicy healthcare’s mission and values of Respect for All, Collaborative Partnerships, Compassionate Care, Holistic Care, and Stewardship.

With a clear mandate to lead hange and deliver excellence in healthcare services, you will play a key role in Emmanuel Health’s broader initiatives. In addition to overseeing the facilities overall operations, team leadership, and fiscal accountability, you will collaborate with the other Emmanuel Health facilities and actively engage with the surrounding community and partnerships with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, the provincial government, and other community partners to ensure that St. Joseph’s Integrated Health Centre remains a cornerstone of the region’s health, hope and compassion. This role requires a commitment to upholding the principles of the Health Ethics Guide, which the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops endorsed.

IDEAL PERSON:

You will bring a post-secondary degree and have a proven track record as a strong team leader and strategic operations experience. You will enjoy problem-solving, utilizing your critical thinking skills, and providing solutions. Experienced with government relations and community partnerships, you will have a collaborative and value-driven approach, demonstrating a solid ability to work with the vulnerable sector and the communitiies you serve. You will deeply understand Catholic healthcare values and be committed to leading with compassion, respect, and a strong sense of community engagement.
