D.A. Electric Ltd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipper / Receiver & Warehouse Coordinator to support our growing operations.

This position plays a vital role in ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are received, organized, tracked, and distributed efficiently to support our field operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an organized warehouse environment while coordinating inbound and outbound logistics activities.

Responsibilities:

Receiving & Inventory Control

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Unload deliveries and safely transport materials to designated storage locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and material tracking systems.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials.
  • Coordinate returns and warranty-related shipments as required.

Shipping & Logistics

  • Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments.
  • Assemble and stage project materials for field crews and job sites.
  • Coordinate shipments with transportation providers and couriers.
  • Ensure all outgoing shipments are accurate and properly documented.

Warehouse Operations

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard.
  • Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles.
  • Organize inventory to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
  • Support ongoing warehouse improvements and material management initiatives.
  • Assist with general facility and yard upkeep as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory management experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience considered an asset (training available for the right candidate).
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Clean driver's abstract.
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with electrical materials or the construction industry is considered an asset.
