Full job description

As a Logistics Coordinator/Dispatcher, you are responsible for overseeing the process from start to finish. Sales/quoting, entering the orders into Axon, responsible for shipping & receiving of all inbound/outbound freight from our Edmonton Terminal. Able to coordinate with highway dispatch & customers to ensure efficient customer service. Candidate must have 5 years experience in sales and LTL. Wages will be determined on knowledge & experience.

Qualifications:

As the successful candidate, you will be self-motivated, driven and a team player. In addition, you will possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience in LTL, load board, supplier and customer emails.
  • Experience and knowledge of Canada shipping regulations and practices.
  • This position requires an individual who is adaptable, self-motivated, results driven and a team player.
  • Successful with building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • An expert at multi-tasking and effectively managing changing priorities.
  • High level of detail in performing tasks.
  • Proactive, able to identify early or any potential issues, and to implement solutions.
  • Ability to work varying hours and be on call
  • Experience with computers
  • Axon knowledge an asset
