Galaxy Freightline inc. is currently recruiting for a Transportation Dispatcher who is looking for full-time work looking to start IMMEDIATELY with an excellent pay package and BENEFITS!!

If you are a Strong, Enthusiastic Trucking Dispatcher here is what we are looking for:

Knowledge of LoadLink is a MUST!! Able to book trucks independently & plan routes, thorough understanding of dispatching software Fleet Manager.

Knowledge of the market rates and able to negotiate with carriers!

Dealing with customers/drivers directly on a daily basis through e-mail and via phone!

Job Description:

  • Utilize various transportation provider software systems, to facilitate transportation planning and scheduling.
  • Track shipments from pick-up through delivery so that accurate, up-to-date information can be provided regarding any shipment, update on transportation system.
  • Prepare and update monthly logistics, schedule to assure deliveries to production locations.
  • Coordinate product delivery schedules with customers.
  • Organizes and maintains hard copy and electronic documentation supporting order fulfillment, pricing, and contractual obligations.
  • Prepares proper paperwork for billing and authorization of a variety of invoice processes.
  • Active involvement with problem-solving of issues presented.
  • Clearing shipments.
  • Filing and administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of previous experience in Transportation/Logistics field
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS outlook
  • Book loads off of Load Link
  • Ability to cope with pressure/stress, work efficiently in a fast pace/high volume environment
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
