About the Role

We are seeking experienced Log Truck Drivers to join our team at a remote logging camp located in beautiful Northern British Columbia, near Bob Quinn Lake.

If you’re reliable, safety-focused, and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you! This position offers steady year-round employment, competitive pay, and comfortable camp accommodations.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport logs from harvest sites to mills or storage facilities.
  • Secure loads according to industry and company standards.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as greasing the truck and checking fluids daily.
  • Maintain accurate electronic logbooks and comply with all provincial and company regulations.
  • Report any mechanical issues promptly and ensure trucks are kept in safe operating condition.
  • Follow all safety protocols and demonstrate strong work ethic and reliability.

Requirements

  • Minimum Experience:
  • Log hauling: 2 years
  • Winter driving: 2 years
  • Truck driving: 3 years
  • License: Valid Class 1 driver’s license (required)
  • Abstract: Clean driver’s abstract issued within 10 days of application
  • Skills: Strong mechanical knowledge, navigation ability, and safety awareness
