TRAVEL REGISTERED NURSES (RN) - ER experience, Acute, ICU, Obstetrics etc (IMMEDIATELY!!!)

Merging Workforce Inc. is actively collaborating with healthcare partners to support the urgent recruitment of dedicated, compassionate, and experienced nurses for exciting Travel Nursing assignments across Nova Scotia. We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with ER experience to join our dynamic healthcare team immediately!

Available Nursing Positions

We are currently recruiting for the following roles:

  • Emergency Room (ER) Nurses
  • Critical Care (ICU) Nurses
  • Cardiovascular ICU / CCU Nurses
  • Maternal / Labour & Delivery Nurses
  • Mental Health Nurses
  • Specialty Registered Nurses (SRN)
  • General Registered Nurses (RN)
  • Registered Practical Nurses / Licensed Practical Nurses (RPN/LPN)

Contract Details

  • Flexible contract duration: 1 to 6 months

Compensation

  • RN (ER / ICU / CCU / L&D): TBD
  • RN (Medical/Surgical & General Duty): TBD

Rates may vary depending on experience and facility placement.

Requirements

  • Active registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN) and/or willing to obtain the NSCN license (we will reimburse for this cost)
  • Minimum 2 years recent experience in relevant specialty area
  • Valid BCLS certification
  • Up-to-date immunization records
  • Proven ER experience in hospital settings is essential; additional experience in acute care, nursing home, assisted living, or pediatric care is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Epic and Cerner.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and laboratory procedures.
  • Flexibility to start immediately and adapt quickly to different clinical environments. This position is ideal for registered nurses eager to expand their expertise through travel assignments while making a meaningful difference in patient lives across multiple healthcare settings.

Emergency Room Nurses (ER):

  • Minimum 2 years recent ER experience
  • Required certifications: CTAS, ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC

ICU/CCU Nurses:

  • Minimum 2 years ICU/CCU experience
  • Critical Care or CCU certification required
  • BCLS and ACLS mandatory
