Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioners for locum assignments in various locations throughout Ontario, Canada.

  • Hospitalist (MRP) NP
  • Emergency Room (ER) NP
  • Primary Health Care (PHC) NP
  • Long Term Care (LTC) NP
  • Corrections Facility

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year NP experience.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in EMR software and other relevant medical technologies.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Requirements:

  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RN-EC (extended class).
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in community-based health care setting
  • Current BLS
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Record of immunizations with TB skin test within past year
