Job Overview

We are seeking dependable, safety-conscious Location Support Personnel (LSP) to support film and television productions across Ontario. This paid, on-call position offers the opportunity to work directly on active film sets, ensuring smooth traffic flow, secure lockups, and positive community relations at production locations. The ideal candidate brings professionalism, reliability, and a calm, proactive attitude to fast-moving, outdoor work environments.

Duties

  • Manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow around active shooting locations
  • Staff lockups to maintain a clean shot and control access to set
  • Support parking coordination for crew, cast, and production vehicles
  • Assist with resident and community relations, including door-knocking and distributing notices
  • Monitor set perimeters to help keep cast and crew safe during active takes
  • Follow radio protocol and directions from the Locations Department and Assistant Directors
  • Maintain a professional, punctual presence representing the production and Rolling Location Services at all times
  • Complete accurate timesheets for each shoot day worked

Experience

  • Valid Ontario driver's licence required
  • Reliable vehicle an asset, not always required (varies by call)
  • Comfortable standing and working outdoors for extended hours in varying weather conditions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow direction under time pressure
  • Prior experience in traffic control, security, or film/TV production is an asset but not required
  • Ability to work early call times and flexible, on-call scheduling
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
