Full job description

Sweet Obsession, a well-established patisserie with over 20 years in Kitsilano, is seeking a Pastry Cook (BOH) to join our production team.

We are a growing company committed to quality, consistency, and being part of our customers’ celebrations. Our offerings include 20+ fresh cakes daily, a rotating selection of pastries and baked goods, and beverages.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake cakes, pastries, and desserts according to company standards
  • Assist with daily production and prep
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

  • Certificate from a pastry program (minimum 6 months)
  • Valid FoodSafe certification
  • Previous pastry or baking experience required
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekdays, and/or weekends
  • Reliable, organized, and team-oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
