Full job description

MUST live within 5-hour drive of Calgary, Leduc, or Fort McMurray

  • Mine Dewatering Operator
  • 7/7 Rotation 12-hour days
  • Fly In Fly Out
  • Rotating between dayshift and night shift

Responsibilities

Perform tasks on the mine dewatering crew including:

  • Pump Setups
  • Mineflex layflat deployment
  • HDPE Fusing
  • HDPE Boltup
  • Pigging Lines
  • Operating heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, and skid steers
  • Operate high pressure wash units
  • Adhere strictly to legislative requirements, company policies, and procedures regarding equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Valid class 5 license
  • Valid CSTS or BSO certification
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Experience on the following equipment is an asset: Loader, Skid Steer, and Excavator
  • Dewatering or pump experience is an asset
  • Farming background is a asset
