Overview

We are a buy downtown law firm seeking an assistant for our personal injury practice.

We are seeking an experienced legal assistant for our growing personal injury practice. The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience in personal injury law.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and filings with precision
  • Manage case files through organized filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain case databases and client records
  • Assist attorneys with document management, including filing, indexing, and document revie
  • Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines, court dates, and case
  • Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars

Skills

  • Proven proofreading and editing skills to ensure accuracy in all legal document
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Experience in project management within a legal or administrative setting is a plus
  • Effective data entry skills with high attention to detail
  • Clerical experience including filing, document management, and general office procedures
  • Professional phone etiquette for communicating confidently with clients, courts, and colleagues
  • Knowledge of legal drafting standards and procedures is desirable
