Your Moneris Career – The Opportunity

Join Moneris as a Systems Administrator III, where you'll support and maintain critical Windows infrastructure services across on-premises and cloud environments. In this role, you'll help ensure the performance, availability, and security of enterprise systems that support production business operations.

You'll gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise-scale Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms, high-availability systems, and automation initiatives. Working closely with infrastructure, application, engineering, and security teams, you'll contribute to platform modernization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement efforts. This role offers exposure to hybrid cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, compliance-driven environments, and mission-critical production systems, providing strong opportunities for technical growth and career development.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship : You will report to Manager, Systems Infrastructure

Posting Type: Replacement Position

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $113,000

Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Your Moneris Career – What you’ll do

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.

  • Support Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise application hosting platforms.

  • Troubleshoot production Windows Server environments to ensure stability, performance, and availability.

  • Support Microsoft clustering, SQL Server high-availability systems, and platform lifecycle activities.

  • Manage SCCM-based patching, deployments, and ongoing server maintenance activities.

  • Support VMware environments used to deploy and operate Windows Server workloads.

  • Develop PowerShell automation and collaborate on configuration management initiatives.

  • Maintain operational documentation and participate in rotational on-call support.

Your Moneris Career – What you bring

Required qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in systems infrastructure administration and support.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

  • Proficiency administering Windows Server environments supporting enterprise or production workloads.

  • Strong experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.

  • Hands-on experience with SCCM for patching, deployments, and system management.

  • Experience administering VMware-based Windows Server environments.

  • Experience supporting PowerShell scripting, automation, and clustered or high-availability Windows platforms.

Preferred qualifications

  • Exposure to Azure or hybrid cloud environments.

  • Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools.

  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation practices.

  • Familiarity with PCI DSS, CIS benchmarks, or enterprise production environments.
