Job description

We are currently looking for lineman/linewomen to join our team. Successful applicants must:

- be a Canadian Citizen and possess a valid SIN

- Possess a valid Canadian drivers licence with air brake endorsement along with an acceptable abstract.

- Minimum 3 years operating line trucks.

- Be experienced in aerial installation of strand, fiber and have experience with a lasher

- Have a high regard for safety while maintaining expected productivity

- Have the ability to work with little instruction and the ability to follow design maps and make ready reports.

-Be able to record daily production and communicate to supervisor on a daily basis

- Have the ability to work is all types of weather (rain, snow, wind etc.)

Wages are determined by experience and are competitive with industry standards. Employees will have all safety equipment provided. Medical benefits can be provided after the 3 month probationary period. Current projects are mainly around the Halifax area with some along the outskirts of HRM. Travel may be required from time to time with accommodations and a meal allowance provided.
