We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team in British Columbia.

This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who takes pride in providing high-quality, person-centered care and enjoys working collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, compassionate, and person-centred nursing care
  • Complete nursing assessments and monitor changes in clients’ health status
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed
  • Perform nursing procedures within your scope of practice
  • Develop, implement, and update care plans as required
  • Monitor vital signs and document client conditions and progress
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in client condition
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, HCAs, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide direction and support to Health Care Aides and other care staff as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Follow infection prevention and control practices
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for clients
  • Support quality improvement and maintain professional standards

Qualifications

  • Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Previous experience in long-term care, continuing care, supportive living, community care, or a similar setting is an asset
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Compassionate, professional, and respectful approach to client care
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy requirements
  • Reliable and dependable attendance
