We are seeking Corporate Security Officers to join the team at Saint John Regional Hospital.

These are casual positions, and the starting rate is $28.1363 per hour.

What you will do

As a Corporate Security Officer, you will support the team at Saint John Regional Hospital by ensuring a safe and secure environment in support of the delivery of safe, quality care. You will protect patients, public, and staff with a focus on prevention, early intervention, and response.

You will monitor and patrol assigned areas of responsibility, and provide operational leadership related to the mitigation of security risks and threats to public safety. Other tasks might include acting as an internal first responder to acts of workplace violence, ensuring the healthcare environment is free from weapons or other prohibited items, and liaising with local law enforcement.

Who you are

You possess a post-secondary diploma in law enforcement, corrections, criminal justice, or a related field, or you have a minimum of five years of military experience. You have written and spoken competence in English (Advanced).
