As an Account Specialist, you’ll work alongside our industry-leading client base to connect them with Investment Professionals across North America. You’ll gain firsthand exposure to the asset management industry, develop valuable sales and communication skills, and learn how leading investment firms grow their businesses.

Work Location: In person

Key Responsibilities:

• Completing daily outbound phone calls to generate leads and build relationships from a defined target segment of Investment Professionals (~130/day)
• Updating daily call activities and maintaining accurate records in Hybrid’s proprietary database
• Developing and maintaining an understanding of various industries and financial products (Equities, Mutual Funds, ETFs, IPOs, Structured Products)
• Collaborating with your team to develop innovative outreach strategies for your clients
• Assisting with administrative tasks and special projects as needed by senior team members

Desired Experience:

• University degree or college diploma in a relevant field is required (Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration)
• Completion of the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) is an asset
• Previous business development or sales experience is an asset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products
• This role is ideal for candidates with experience in positions such as: Customer Service Representative, Retail Sales Associate, Bank Teller, Financial Services Representative, Personal Banking Associate, Client Service Representative, Sales / Account Representative.
