Fox On John is seeking a hardworking individual for the position of Restaurant Floor Manager.

Fox On John is a neighborhood restaurant celebrating classic British fusion cuisine. The menu evokes feelings of nostalgia and timeless comfort in a warm and familiar space; showcasing the best of bold British cuisine with refined classics and indulgent signatures. Fox On John provokes a feeling of intimacy as an extension of the family home with a versatile function.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff, providing them with constructive feedback while maintaining a high level of employee morale; create an engaging and energetic environment where all associates work as a highly functioning team
  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make decisions on matters of importance to guest service
  • Ensure positive guest service in all areas; investigate and respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to ensure guest recovery
  • Responsible for helping the restaurant meet service, sales, and profit objectives
  • Supervising and directing associates in daily work activities.
  • Maintain high levels of quality control, hygiene, health and safety; uphold professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms and appearance standards
  • Inspect Open/Close restaurant in accordance with daily checklists
  • Enforce Company Policies and Procedures with Cash handling & reconciliation – balance tills, provide due-backs
  • Ability to multi-task, and change priorities constantly as needed in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty, and ethics; Self-starter, flexible, and able to work independently
  • Good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Reporting to the General Manager
  • Extended Health Benefits after 6 months (Health/Dental/Vision)

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
