Job Summary
Join our growing team led by our Thai head chef! We are a Thai restaurant in Leslieville looking for a talented and passionate Sous Chef with experience in Thai cuisine to support kitchen operations and help maintain our high standards of food quality and consistency.
Duties
- Assist the head chef with daily kitchen operations and food preparation
- Prepare and cook menu items while maintaining authentic Thai flavours and presentation standards
- Help supervise and support kitchen staff during service
- Ensure food is prepared promptly and consistently
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Assist with inventory management, ingredient rotation, and minimizing food waste
- Support menu development and ensure smooth kitchen operations
Requirements
- 1–2 years of previous experience in a professional kitchen
- Experience with Thai cuisine is preferred
- Wok experience is an asset
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Passion for cooking, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
