Full job description

We are looking for a self-motivated and highly driven candidate for our opening as a Commercial Insurance Broker.

Our next co-worker will have at least 1 years' worth of recent customer service experience, and will be able to produce solid references who can attest to their client-wowing abilities!

Responsibilities
  • Taking incoming calls from new and existing clients looking for insurance quotes or changes to their commercial insurance policies
  • Researching and developing relationships with new prospective clients
  • Setting up meetings with these prospects (telephone and face-to-face)
  • Continuing education: keeping on top of insurance product developments
  • Preparing and presenting proposals

Qualifications
  • Drive and initiative
  • Solid interpersonal skills (a genuine "people person")
  • Excellent listening and communicating skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Master of efficiency and organization
  • Ability to work under deadlines
  • Commitment to continuing education (insurance courses and seminars)
  • Fluent French/English bilingualism: written and spoken
  • At least 1 year of previous general insurance experience
