Built on a foundation of integrity, quality workmanship, and strong customer relationships, we have earned a reputation as a trusted partner for businesses that rely on us to keep their operations running smoothly.

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator with a strong background in commercial HVAC and plumbing projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing opportunities, collaborating with clients and project teams, and contributing to the growth of a dynamic organization.

You will work closely with operations, project management, vendors, and clients to develop competitive and accurate estimates while helping shape the future success of our project portfolio. If you are ready to take your career to the next level while joining a team that prides itself on excellence, we want to hear from you.

In this role you will

  • Analyze project requirements and identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities
  • Maintain current knowledge of construction contracts and their implications on project execution
  • Stay informed of legal, bonding, insurance, and compliance requirements related to bidding
  • Coordinate and arrange bid bonds and related documentation as required
  • Track and maintain estimating activities, opportunities, and proposal information within Excel, BuildOps, or other company systems
  • Analyze bid results, project outcomes, and budget performance to improve future estimating accuracy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, vendors, contractors, and industry partners
  • Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and project-related meetings as required
  • Create and manage material lists from project drawings, specifications, and quotations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying efficiencies and process enhancements
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers, operations teams, and field personnel
  • Assist with shop drawings, contract administration, and other project support activities as required

To Succeed in this Role

Must have Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience estimating commercial HVAC and plumbing projects
  • Strong understanding of mechanical construction practices, materials, and systems
  • Ability to accurately prepare take-offs, estimates, budgets, and proposals

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

  • Knowledge of bid bonding and construction procurement processes
  • Previous experience supporting project management or contract administration functions
  • Existing relationships within the mechanical contracting industry

  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability
  • Professional and customer-focused
  • Able to identify opportunities and think strategically
  • Committed to delivering accurate, high-quality work
  • Takes pride in building strong relationships and supporting business growth
