Conveyancer – BC Notary Practice

Location: Surrey, BC
Job Type: Full-time (Part-time considered for the right candidate)

About Us

We are a busy and client-focused BC notary practice dedicated to providing exceptional legal services in real estate, subdivisions, covenants, wills, powers of attorney, representation agreements, and notarizations. We pride ourselves on professionalism, accuracy, and outstanding client service.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join our team. The successful candidate will manage residential real estate transactions from file opening through completion while providing excellent service to clients, lenders, and real estate professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage residential purchase, sale, refinance, and mortgage transactions from start to finish.
  • Prepare and review conveyancing documents using Econveyance software.
  • Order title, tax, and other required searches.
  • Coordinate with clients, realtors, lenders, and financial institutions.
  • Manage signing appointments and ensure documentation is complete.
  • Register documents through the Land Title & Survey Authority of BC.
  • Prepare trust accounting information and completion letters and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with the Land Title & Survey Authority of BC requirements and office procedures.
  • Maintain accurate file records and meet completion deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of BC residential conveyancing experience (preferred).
  • Experience working in a BC notary or law office.
  • Strong knowledge of BC real estate conveyancing procedures.
  • Experience with conveyancing software such as EConveyance, Unity, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and general office technology.
