The Job: We are hiring a Legal Intake Coordinator.

Job Requirements:

  • Professional demeanor

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skill
  • Strong grasp of Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Relevant degree or diploma from accredited Ontario institutions
  • A desire to learn and advance in the legal profession

Job Responsibilities:

  • Address incoming calls and inquiries from intakes (prospective clients)
  • Taking concise notes; triaging information on intake calls for review and further direction by our team members
  • Requesting and organizing intake documents
  • Scheduling and managing consults between intakes and our team members
  • Delivering and following up on reports to prospective clients as well as retainer agreements offered and payments required
  • Personally following up with prospective clients to see if they will proceed with our representation, answer any questions/concerns they have about the process going forward with guidance from our team members, and/or set up follow up calls to address their concerns directly with a team member
  • Opening new files
  • Other clerical and administrative duties as required
