Real Estate Legal Assistant
Chestermere Law LLP is a boutique law firm based out of Chestermere, Alberta. We are seeking a real estate assistant with 3+ years of experience to join our fast-growing office.

Job Description:

· Processing of residential real estate transactions (purchases, sales & refinances)

· To communicate with clients, realtors, and lenders

· Ability to prioritize files and manage multiple deadlines;

· Closing files and reporting to lenders & clients;

· Other duties as required.

Ideal Qualifications

· Graduate of a Legal Assistant Program;

· a minimum of three years of experience with real estate transactions;

· Commercial real estate experience would be considered a strong asset

-Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate in a clear, professional & courteous manner with clients and lawyers;

· Experience with Prolegis Conveyancing software is an asset;

· High proficiency with Windows, MS Office, Soluno and Google software;

· A positive, self-starter attitude with the ability to take initiative;

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines; and

· Strong organizational and time-management skills;

· Experience with builder contracts and new construction purchases is an asset; and

· Ability to prioritize matters.
