Full job description

POSTING OF PURCHASES AND INVOICES:

  • Validation of received goods and correct prices, which have been invoiced in accordance with the purchase order.
  • Obtain required approval(s) for invoices from the person in charge of the purchase order.
  • Code and enter invoices with appropriate general ledger account code.
  • Preparing debit notes to overseas suppliers.

PREPARE INVOICES FOR PAYMENT:

  • Schedule invoices for payment within prescribed due dates.
  • Ensure accurate payment of invoices.
  • Prepare debit memos for any price discrepancies or any other valid reasons.

CREDIT CARD PURCHASES

  • Reconcile AMEX and DINERS statements and match appropriate receipts.

GENERAL ACCOUNTING DUTIES:

  • Maintain updated vendor records.
  • Reconcile vendor statement and inquiries.
  • Filing

END OF THE MONTH:

  • Ensure all invoices on hand at month end are entered in the system.
  • Verify that all invoices were entered with correct code
  • Submit necessary back up documentation when requested.
  • Updating schedules.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
