Full job description

We are looking for Drillers, Derrickhands, Motorhands and Floorhands to join our team!

Savanna Drilling has a fleet of rigs that include hybirds, top drive singles and heavy to ultra-heavy double rigs. Our Canadian drilling fleet utilizes a range of modern rigs to cater to almost every well formation and depth, with an emphasis on mobility and rapid rig up and rig out times across all rig types.

We are looking for experienced rig hands and eager to learn and advance in this fast-paced industry.

Competitive Wages:

  • Floorhand: $40.60/hr
  • Motorhand: $42.80/hr
  • Derrickhand: $48.70/hr
  • Driller: $55.70/hr

Work Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts with regular overtime available
  • Typical rotations of 14/7 or 20/10 (project dependent)
  • Consistent rotational schedules with time off between hitches

What You'll Do:

As part of our drilling rig crews, you'll contribute to safe and efficient drilling operations while working alongside experienced professionals. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with daily drilling operations
  • Handling drill pipe and rig equipment
  • Performing rig maintenance and housekeeping
  • Following safe work procedures and company policies
  • Identifying and reporting hazards
  • Working as part of a team in a physically demanding environment
  • Participating in ongoing safety meetings and training

What You'll Need

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Able to successfully complete Savanna's pre-employment testing and fitness assessment
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
