Full job description

About Us:

Lawrence Park Plastic Surgery is a boutique aesthetic surgery practice specializing in highly customized procedures and comprehensive body makeovers. Our team focuses on delivering a curated, high-end experience for every patient, from the first consultation to the final follow-up. The practice emphasizes attentive, detail-oriented care and clear communication at every step of the patient journey. Customer service is our top priority, and the environment is professional, welcoming, and service-driven. Team members are expected to contribute to a positive, respectful, and patient-centered workplace.

The Opportunity:

We are not looking for a traditional medical receptionist. While there will be some administrative duties, a background in hospitality, luxury retail or premium goes relations would be more valuable than a medical office.

We are seeking an intuitive, independent thinker who can run our front-of-house operations with absolute poise, warmth, and autonomy. No prior medical administration experience is required — we hire for emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and premium service standards, and we will fully train you on our internal clinical logistics.

The Rhythm of Your Week:

This role is dynamic and shifts gears depending on the clinic's surgical schedule. Your days will be divided into two distinct environments:

  • Client-Focused Days (When Doctors are In-Office): These are high-energy, fast-paced days. You will be the primary person responsible for the in-office patient experience—hosting guests, managing flawless white-glove check-ins, curating a pristine environment, and providing attentive, detail-oriented care.
  • Administrative & Prep Days (Surgery Days): When our surgeons are in the operating room or prepping, the clinic is quiet. Your focus will pivot to administrative work: answering the telephone and responding to emails and text messages from patients with exceptional warmth, managing the scheduling of all existing patients, and executing the meticulous clerical tasks required to prepare for upcoming clinic days.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: A solid background in luxury hospitality, premium spas/wellness studios, high-end retail, or upscale corporate concierge roles.
  • Mindset: A self-starter who thinks critically, reads a room naturally, and solves problems independently before they need to be escalated.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
  • Culture Fit: A positive, respectful teammate who genuinely prides themselves on elite customer service.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive Compensation: A strong hourly rate plus a defined bonus structure that rewards excellence and performance.
  • Premium Work Environment: A beautiful, upscale workspace in Lawrence Park with a highly supportive, respectful team.
  • Work-Life Balance: Predictable daytime hours without the late nights and grueling weekend shifts of traditional hospitality position
  • Growth Potential: This position begins as a stable part-time role (2 to 3 days/week), but for a high-performing individual, there is a clear pathway to advance into a full-time position with expanded career and operational options.

How to Apply:

To ensure you have read this posting completely, please include a brief cover letter or note with your application explaining what "luxury customer service" means to you in a medical office setting. Applications without this note will not be considered.

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • On-site parking
  • Paid time off

Application question(s):

  • We operate more like the Four Seasons than an OHIP-funded clinic, and we need team members who think for themselves rather than just following a rigid script. In your own words, what does 'luxury customer service' mean to you, and how do you ensure a patient feels incredibly valued and cared for even when the front desk gets busy or stressful? Please share a quick example if you have one
  • Can you work Tuesdays, Thursdays and 1-2 Wednesdays a month on site?

Experience:

  • luxury hospitality/retail: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person
