Job Overview
Salary Range: $45,000 - $70,000

Location: Abbotsford

We are seeking a Conveyancer or Legal Assistant with a passion for building their career in real estate and corporate law. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in real estate transactions, a client-focused approach, and a commitment to providing high-quality support in a professional legal setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide in-office conveyancing
  • Manage real estate transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in document preparation and submission.
  • Utilize software programs such as ProSuite(or comparable programs) to manage files and complete tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, realtors, lenders, brokers, and team members to ensure smooth transaction processes.
  • Maintain organization and attention to detail across multiple files and deadlines.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new technology, procedures, and legal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in conveyancing or legal assistance is required
  • Familiarity with Prosuite is helpful but not essential-training can be provided.
  • Excellent client-focused communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle high pressure environments
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Comfort with multiple computer programs and a willingness to learn new systems.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Must be able to work on-site and eligible to work in Canada.
