Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial and Residential Cleaner to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality cleaning services for both residential homes and commercial properties, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for maintaining cleanliness and order. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a plus. Experience in hospitality, customer service, or cooking is beneficial but not mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and professionalism are highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
  • Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing
  • Prepare spaces for clients by organizing items and ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and preferences
  • Maintain supplies and equipment, notifying management when restocking is needed
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes
  • Uphold safety standards and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries professionally and courteously

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cleaning services, residential cleaning, or hospitality preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of French is advantageous
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Basic cooking skills are a plus for preparing or assisting with food-related tasks during client visits
  • Reliable transportation or access to transportation to reach various job sites
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality
  • Prior experience with laundry tasks is desirable but not mandatory
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to customer satisfaction

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Additional pay:

  • Bonus pay

  • Weekends as needed
