Job Summary
At Elgin Jewellers, we believe the true value of jewellery lies in the people and moments behind it. With nearly 50 years of craftmanship, we honour every story with care, honesty and intention. Located in a vibrant beautiful beach town 3 Hours from Toronto.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Goldsmith/Bench Jeweller to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well- established, independently owned jewellery store with a strong reputation for quality work, and in -house craftmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high quality jewellery repairs (Ring sizing, soldering, chain repair, claw re-tipping, stone setting)
  • Assist and colllaborate with staff on custom jewellery projects and customer needs.
  • work with Gold, Platinum and Silver
  • Stone setting (Diamond and Coloured Stones) with precision and care
  • Polishing and finishing to a high standard
  • Maintain a clean and organized bench/workspace
  • Collaborate with sales team on clients needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 + years bench experience (Preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and craftmanship standards
  • Experience with Torch and Laser welding (Asset)
  • Ability to handle multiple jobs efficiently
  • Positive attitude and team oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for quality and customer satisfaction
  • Demonstration of skills may be required

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
