The individual will assist in production programming and operating a Trumpf Co2 Laser Machine

Job Responsibilities

  • Practical experience in operating CNC laser machines (knowledge of Trumpf laser machines an asset)
  • Proper maintenance of machinery and all shop equipment
  • Set up and operate machine to ensure orders are completed to meet deadlines
  • Work with plant supervisor to ensure order are processed in accordance with daily production schedule and on time deliveries.
  • Documenting and keeping accurate production and quality control Records of all finished Job Orders.
  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions of drawings, blueprints, specifications and numerical dimensions and tolerances
  • Knowledge in different types of materials, grades, gauges, dimensions.
  • Driver's License and Forklift Licence an asset - training provided if needed
  • Attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • High School Diploma and/or Trade School
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, complete repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, organize deadlines and priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and time-management skills
  • A team player and willing to work with others on projects
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
