Job Overview

We are looking for a creative, confident, and personable photography & guest experience supervisor to help bring a magical holiday experience to The Cottage at Uptown.

In this role, you will lead the creative photography process while working closely with our guest services team and Santa. You will oversee the flow and execution of each photo session, direct poses, capture beautiful, high-quality images, and ensure every family has a magical and memorable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Take creative lead throughout each photo session and be responsible for the overall quality of the holiday photos
  • Capture high-quality, polished photos that reflect the style and vision of The Cottage at Uptown
  • Direct families through natural, engaging poses while creating a warm and comfortable experience
  • Use lighting, composition, camera angles, and positioning to create beautiful, well-balanced images
  • Pay close attention to expressions, posing, lighting, backgrounds, and other details throughout the session
  • Ability to confidently troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues with cameras, lighting, computers, and other photography equipment if they arise
  • Confidently guide each session while keeping families engaged, comfortable, and on schedule
  • Work closely with Santa and Guest Services staff to ensure each appointment runs smoothly and that first-class customer experience is delivered
  • Review images throughout the session and make creative adjustments when needed
  • Complete basic photo editing and ensure images are polished and ready for delivery
  • Communicate positively with coworkers and contribute to a collaborative, professional team environment

What We Are Looking For

  • Photography experience with a strong understanding of lighting, posing, and composition
  • A creative eye and strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with basic photo editing (Adobe Lightroom)
  • Confident directing families and taking creative lead during a session
  • Warm, outgoing, and personable with children, families, and coworkers
  • Strong communicator who works well as part of a team
  • Punctual, reliable, and professional during the holiday season
  • Able to work evenings and weekends
