Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Supervisor to lead and oversee our landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and construction, with the ability to manage a team effectively. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse outdoor projects, ensuring high-quality landscape environments for our clients.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance activities, including planting, pruning, mowing, and fertilizing
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as excavators and other mechanical tools
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for various landscaping tasks
  • Plan and execute construction projects related to landscape design and installation
  • Train and guide team members on proper use of tools, safety procedures, and best practices in horticulture and gardening
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards are met and safety protocols are followed
  • Manage project timelines, materials, and resources efficiently to meet client expectations
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment used, and project progress

Requirements

  • Proven experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture, or related fields
  • Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators
  • Strong understanding of gardening techniques, and horticultural practices
  • Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining safety standards

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
