Compensation & Schedule

  • Hourly pay: CA$33 to CA$45/hour (based on experience)
  • Full-time, year-round employment
  • Typical hours: 45 to 55 hours/week, Monday to Friday (weekends if needed)
  • Work location: In person (western GTA)

Role Overview

As a Construction Foreman , you are the on-site leader responsible for safety, quality, production, and crew leadership. You’ll plan the day, lead a crew of 2 to 5 plus sub-trades, coordinate with Operations and Construction Management, and deliver luxury-level finishes that exceed client expectations.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, motivate, instruct, and delegate to crew members and sub-trades
  • Read and execute construction drawings and layout plans accurately
  • Build and install high-end landscape features including:
  • Hardscape and masonry work
  • Softscape installs (planting, sod, layout execution)
  • Accent lighting, irrigation, concrete, woodwork, and related site elements
  • Plan daily operations with the Operations and Construction Managers
  • Keep a clean, organized, professional job site that reflects a luxury standard
  • Own jobsite safety, hazard recognition, and incident prevention using industry best practices
  • Communicate professionally with clients and protect the Proscape experience on-site
  • Operate equipment safely (track loaders, mini excavators, compaction equipment, power tools)

What You Bring (Must Have)

  • 5 to 7+ years experience in high-end residential or commercial landscape design-build
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings
  • Proven leadership of a crew (2 to 5 people) plus coordination with sub-trades
  • Strong working knowledge of hardscaping, softscaping, lighting, concrete, woodwork, and irrigation systems
  • Strong softscape capability including plant ID, proper installation, sod, and layout execution
  • Equipment experience (track loader, mini ex, compaction equipment, power tools)
  • Able to meet the physical demands of an outdoor, all-season role
  • Strong safety mindset and ability to prevent incidents using industry best practices
  • Professional communication, client-first attitude, pride in craftsmanship
  • Self-motivated, reliable, strong work ethic, long-term career mindset
  • Valid G license, clean driver’s abstract, and access to a vehicle

Nice to Have

  • Basic First Aid and/or construction industry certification
  • A or D license
