Job Overview

Millennium Energy Services is looking for an experienced BOP Pressure Testing Operator to join our team.

We expect to be very busy this summer and are looking for someone who can step into the role with minimal training.

Preference will be given to applicants with:

  • Previous BOP Pressure Testing experience
  • Drilling rig experience (Motorhand, Derrickhand, Driller or higher)
  • Service rig experience

Whitecourt area candidates are preferred due to our local shop; however, applicants from Edmonton, Edson, Fox Creek, Valleyview, Slave Lake and surrounding areas will also be considered.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
  • Current H2S Alive
  • Current First Aid
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field
  • Mechanical aptitude is an asset
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
  • Moderate computer skills and paperwork completion

Job Duties:

  • Perform BOP pressure testing services at drilling and service rig locations
  • Complete required documentation and customer reports
  • Maintain company equipment and vehicles
  • Provide professional service to customers
  • Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation

Compensation:

  • $85,000 - $150,000+ annually (depending on experience, performance, and workload)
  • Benefits package available
