Total Tire Distributors Inc. is a Canadian company based in Kelowna, BC. Our team members are committed to exceeding customer expectations by delivering high-quality products, competitive pricing, and exceptional service.

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Accounts Payable team as an Accounts Payable Admin II, based out of our Kelowna office (Lake Country Industrial Park). This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to further their career within a growing organization.

Core Responsibilities

· Receive, sort and batch all invoices prior to entry.

· Review invoices for potential errors, discrepancies and proper authorization.

· Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.

· Accurate data entry – (minimal errors i.e. - duplicate invoices / transposed #s)

· Prepare and post invoices.

· Ensure invoices and expense reports are entered into the system.

· Review and post invoice batches prepared by other accounts payable members.

· Prepare cheques and EFT payment runs.

· Meet month end requirements and timelines.

· Provide support to all Total Tire warehouse locations.

· Investigate payment issues while following corporate A/P policies and procedures.

· Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.

· Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all locations, vendors and customers.

· Maintain strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its business organizations.

Work Experience

· 2-years Accounts Payable or related experience would be considered an asset

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, TEAMS, Excel, Outlook

· High level of attention to detail

· Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

· Ability to work well within a team environment

· Ability to organize work

· Knowledge of general accounting procedures

· Upbeat positive attitude

Education

· Secondary school diploma or equivalent

· Post-secondary education in Accounting or Business Administration is considered an asset

Special Requirements

· Some overtime required during peak periods.
